Dan Redfeld Conducts Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël

For its first concert of the 2019-2020 concert season, Music at Westwood will present Saint-Saëns’ “Oratorio de Noël” on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 10 am. Admission is free.

Written in ten days in mid December 1858 and premiered on Christmas Eve of the same year in Paris, the Oratorio de Noël is modeled after the Handel oratorios and is filled with music which ranges from folk-like melodies to full operatic splendor. 

Featuring Christina Borgioli and Devon Davidson, sopranos
Nandani Maria Sinha, mezzo-soprano
Justin Brunette and Scott Noonan, tenors
Matthew Lewis, bass
