Dan assists orchestrator Jonathan Tunick on “Waterfall”, a new musical with music by David Shire and book/lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. Directed by Tak Viravan & musical direction by John McDaniel. It runs at the Pasadena Playhouse from May 28 to June 29.

 Dan Redfeld’s “Arioso” Receives Premiere With the Santa Barbara Symphony

Dan’s “Arioso for Oboe, Percussion & Strings” is premiered by oboist Lara Wickes, conductor Nir Kabaretti and the Santa Barbara Symphony. The piece is met with great acclaim and is broadcast on K-USC in August 2015.

New Chamber Album Featuring the Music of John Williams is Released on BSX Records

“Schindler’s List: The Film Music of John Williams” is released on BSX Records. It features studio musicians Elizabeth Hedman (violin), Donald Foster (clarinet) and David Washburn (trumpet) as soloists accompanied by Dan in chamber arrangements of Williams’ iconic themes. Arrangements are by Williams and Redfeld. Album is produced by Redfeld.
